Iowa Association of REALTORS® (United Real Estate Solutions) Online Pre-License Class Statement of Terms

Please read carefully before proceeding.

United Real Estate Solutions, working in conjunction with the Calvert School of Real Estate (A Service of the Iowa Association of REALTORS®), is pleased to bring you this online real estate salesperson prelicense course.

However, the course is maintained and managed by the Iowa Association of REALTORS® and, therefore, all future correspondence you receive regarding this course will come from the Iowa Association of REALTORS®. Please carefully read the information below before you take the final step and purchase the online real estate salesperson prelicense course:

To receive a real estate license in Iowa you must complete the following four (4) steps:

  1. Be a person 18 years of age or over. (You may actually sit for the exam before you are 18 but you MUST be 18 before you make application for license, which must be within six (6) months after you pass the exam.
  2. Be a person whose application has not been rejected for licensure in this or any other state with twelve (12) months prior to the date of application, and whose real estate license has not been revoked in this or any other state within two (2) years prior to date of application.
  3. Must successfully complete an accredited 60-hour pre-license course.
  4. Successfully pass the Iowa real estate salesperson examination.
To complete the on-line version of an accredited 60-hour pre-license course you must purchase and complete National Real Estate Principles AND Iowa Real Estate Principles and complete the courses within 6 months of the date of purchase – there is no exception to this rule. Those students who let the six months expire are required to repurchase the course and begin again.

To successfully complete National Real Estate Principles, you must do the following:

  1. Click through every screen of the module.
  2. Answer each module correctly.
  3. Score at least 90% on each lesson exam.
To successfully complete Iowa Real Estate Principles, you must do the following:

  1. Click through every screen of every module.
  2. Answer each module question correctly.
  3. Score at least 90% on each lesson exam.
Once you accept these terms you may proceed to purchase National Real Estate Principles and Iowa Real Estate Principles located in the courses section of RECampus. You need to purchase the set course for $425.00 only! A confirmation packet will be mailed to you within three days of your purchase of the course. Your progress will be monitored and a certificate of completion will be mailed to you within three days of completion of the course.
