Hoekstra started her real estate journey as an intern with the company's commercial division NAI United. After working as a commercial real estate agent in Los Angeles, California, Hoekstra decided to return to her roots and serve Siouxland on the residential side.

Mills is a graduate of Sioux City West High School and has management experience in the service industry. Both his parents and grandparents have been small business owners. He says that is what inspired him to get into real estate.
